Your responsibilities
- Identify, monitor and analyse relevant Swiss financial market regulations
- Assess regulatory developments and advise the business on their implications
- Review and respond to regulatory matters, including the coordination of FINMA inquiries and investigations
- Support the implementation of new and changing regulatory requirements
- Provide practical advice across Legal and Compliance matters
- Liaise with authorities and other relevant external stakeholders
- Take responsibility for internal regulatory frameworks, including the drafting, coordination and maintenance of internal policies and regulations
Your profile
- Swiss university degree in Law
- Swiss bar admission is advantageous, but not essential
- Professional experience within financial regulation, banking, Legal or Compliance
- Previous experience with a regulatory authority would be particularly valuable
- Good understanding of the Swiss financial regulatory environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- German and English fluency
- Confident stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- Proactive, resilient and solution-oriented working style
