Looking to elevate your debt finance practice in Frankfurt or Munich? I am partnering with two top international law firms in Frankfurt and Munich, seeking ambitious 2-6 PQE Associates and Senior Associates to join their expanding Banking & Finance group.
What You'll Be Doing
- Advising private equity sponsors, direct lending debt funds, and international banking syndicates on complex LBO transactions and corporate credit facilities.
- Drafting and negotiating loan documentation for unitranche facilities, super-senior RCFs, mezzanine financing, and Schuldscheine.
- Executing high-friction Amend-and-Extend (A&E) refinancings, repricings, and Liability Management Exercises (LMEs) across European debt documentation.
- Handling cross-border transactional debt mandates alongside top-ranked corporate, PE, and restructuring teams.
- Leading workstreams independently with direct client exposure to credit funds and lenders.
What We're Looking For
- Qualified German lawyer (Volljurist/in), with 2-6 years of PQE in Banking & Finance at a recognized German, UK, or US law firm platform.
- Solid hands-on knowledge of acquisition finance or leveraged finance documentation (LBOs, direct credit, syndicated lending).
- Strong academic profile across both State Examinations.
- Fluent German and business English
- Highly analytical, client-focused, and eager to build a long-term career path in debt finance.
