PreSales and Projects Engineer (m/f/x)
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- PreSales technical support, generation of RFI/RFP responses, covering technical consulting and requirements capture
- Conceptual system design, Scope of Work creation, and quotations
- Ensuring the provision of appropriate process documentation to support the Customer, Sales, Sales Administration, Technical PreSales – System engineering, R&D / Product Management, Support, and the Project Delivery team
- Technical presentations, Product/System demonstrations, System PoCs and support for tradeshows, exhibitions, events
- Create system-wide solutions, utilizing IP infrastructure standards covering Audio, Video, Metadata and Control
- Configuration, Commissioning and programming of the products/system
- Deliver system solutions, commissioning remote and/or on-site products/solutions
- Assist in After-Sales support process
- Technical troubleshooting (remote/on-site)
- Adherence to established processes and tools
- Close cooperation with the LAWO headquarters in Rastatt
YOUR PROFILE
- Education in the broadcast, audio, electrical engineering, or a related field is required
- Network/IT knowledge
- Experience in the broadcast environment, on-air broadcast operations, IP projects
- Expertise in operational workflow
- Passion for new technology
- Structured way of working and problem-solving ability
- Driven by delivering service excellence
- Strong verbal and written communication skills – Spanish, English required
- Ability to work alone with little or no supervision
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Readiness for international and local travel – 30% to 50%
- Must have French and English at high level
- European Languages Spanish, Portuguese and German are nice to have
