I am currently partnering with one of Germany's leading international Design & Build contractors to appoint an experienced
Senior Design Architect for its growing Industrial & Commercial Buildings division.
This is an outstanding opportunity to join an established organisation delivering complex industrial developments across Germany, including manufacturing facilities, logistics centres, production plants and large-scale commercial buildings valued up to
€80 million
Working within an experienced multidisciplinary design team, you will play a key role in leading architectural design from concept through to construction, collaborating closely with clients, consultants and construction teams to deliver technically challenging projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architectural design from concept through detailed design
- Produce construction and approval documentation
- Coordinate architectural design with multidisciplinary project teams
- Liaise with subcontractors and product suppliers
- Support tendering and procurement activities
- Carry out regular site inspections and monitor construction quality
- Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with design intent and programme
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years' experience
- Strong experience delivering industrial and commercial construction projects
- Previous Design & Build project experience
- Excellent knowledge of Revit
- Allplan experience advantageous
- BIM knowledge beneficial
- Fluent German (C1 minimum)
- Full driving licence
- Willingness to travel approximately 10–15% across Germany
