Head ChefAs Head Chef, you are responsible for the culinary vision, the quality of the dishes, and the overall performance of the kitchen activities at the Comptoir de Beaulieu, for both the brasserie and the event catering business. In direct liaison with the General Management of Beaulieu SA and the managers of the restaurant and catering service, you steer all kitchen operations: menu offerings, production supervision, team management, and cross-functional management of existing departments, as well as cost management. You ensure strong coherence between the different activities, while maintaining a high level of standards and guaranteeing efficiency in a dynamic, multi-activity environment.As an experienced manager, you supervise, structure, and develop the kitchen teams. You play a central role in transmitting standards, upskilling staff, and developing a solid and committed team culture.As a hands-on professional, you are also responsible for managing resources and steering the economic performance of your scope. You ensure cost control, product quality, and the implementation of efficient processes.Profile sought- Minimum 6 to 9 years of experience in the kitchen, with strong confirmed expertise in traditional cuisine and event catering.- Proven experience in a position of responsibility (Executive Chef, Head Chef, or experienced Sous-Chef), ideally in the hotel industry or a large-scale structure.- Confirmed experience in team management and in a multi-activity environment.- Solid skills in cost management, inventory, and processes.- Leadership, ability to unite and structure a team.- Keen sense of quality, rigor, and ability to resist stress.- Mastery of French (native or equivalent).We offer youThe opportunity to join an ambitious project, which aims to be the showcase of the future Halles de Beaulieu, the next temple of gastronomy in Lausanne, scheduled to open in the spring.
