Be part of our platform engineering team developing scalable and secure platform services that are empowering LeanIX engineering teams! Take responsibility as Senior Backend Engineer and join us evolving an event driven notification service, the event streaming platform, observability services and the whole platform ecosystem. In two week sprints based on Scrum our teams self-organise their tasks and continuously improve the way they work to deliver value through our products for our customers.
As Senior Backend Engineer you are not only an individual contributor but support your team with a strong customer-centric mindset and a drive to take on ownership of product capabilities and technical components.

WHAT IS WAITING FOR YOU?
- Implement and evolve integrated platform services at global scale, which are managed and provisioned for engineering teams: authentication, notifications, event streaming, routing, hosting of frontend assets
- Guide engineering teams utilising platform services
- Continuous improvement of our architecture, CI /CD pipelines and codebase
- You will be part of our larger development organisation and contribute to cross-team knowledge building & sharing – with explicit options to share your knowledge across our entire company and beyond, e.g. on conferences

WHAT IS OUR STACK?
- Backend microservice development: Java / Kotlin using Dropwizard, Node.js
- API Technologies such as REST and GraphQL
- Azure and Kubernetes
- Modern CI /CD and infrastructure toolchain: GitHub Actions, Terraform, Testcontainers
- Monitoring & Alerting, e.g., Instana, Grafana, Prometheus, PagerDuty
- PostgreSQL, Event Streaming, Kafka, Redis
