We are currently partnering with our client to identify an experienced

SAP QM Consultant (m/w/d) in Zürich.

This assignment is part of an ongoing

SAP S/4HANA rollout project within a Swiss corporate environment. The primary focus of the role is the implementation, support, and optimization of

• SAP Quality Management (QM) processes with strong integration into
• SAP Production Planning (PP)

. You will play a key role in ensuring that quality management processes are effectively aligned with production operations and business requirements.

In this position, you will support the rollout of a customer‑specific SAP template and contribute to a smooth go‑live and transition into productive operations.

Following the implementation phase, you will provide support for incidents, problems, and changes, helping to ensure system stability and business continuity.

• Main Tasks
• Support the implementation, optimization, and operation of SAP Quality Management (QM) processes within a SAP S/4HANA environment, including integration with SAP Production Planning (PP).
• Contribute to the rollout of a customer‑specific SAP S/4HANA template, ensuring alignment between business requirements and system functionalities.
• Provide go‑live support and manage incidents, problems, and changes as part of 2nd and 3rd level application support.
• Analyze complex business processes in manufacturing and quality management and translate requirements into effective SAP solutions.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, SAP functional consultants, and development teams to ensure seamless process integration.
• Support system troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives across the SAP application landscape.
• Coordinate and work with ABAP developers on enhancements, custom developments, and technical implementations where required.
• Ensure stable and efficient operation of business‑critical SAP processes while contributing to the ongoing optimization of the SAP S/4HANA platform.

Your Profile

• Proven experience as an SAP QM Consultant with strong hands‑on expertise in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Extensive knowledge of SAP Quality Management (QM), ideally within manufacturing or production‑driven organizations.
• Strong understanding of the integration between SAP QM and SAP Production Planning (PP).
• Experience supporting SAP rollouts, go‑live activities, and post‑go‑live stabilization phases.
• Ability to analyze complex business processes and translate requirements into effective SAP solutions.
• Experience with Incident, Problem, and Change Management as part of application support activities.
• Independent and pragmatic working style, with the ability to handle challenging situations autonomously.
• Fluent business‑level German and English.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills and willingness to share knowledge.
• Nice to Have
• ABAP knowledge or experience working closely with ABAP developers on custom developments and enhancements.
• Experience with customer‑specific SAP templates and large‑scale SAP rollout projects.
• Knowledge of manufacturing, production, and quality assurance processes.
• Experience in 2nd and 3rd level SAP application support.
• Understanding of SAP best practices and continuous process improvement methodologies.
• Flexibility and ability to work effectively in dynamic project environments.
