As an experienced service technician, you will be our technical point of contact for our customers and our UPS systems in German-speaking Switzerland. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liInstallation and commissioning of UPS and battery systems /li liIndependent planning and carrying out of preventative maintenance, inspections, measurements and technical condition analyses /li liCarrying out fault analyses and systematic fault diagnosis /li liIndependent troubleshooting, as well as the repair and replacement of components /li liInitiating and implementing preventative measures, in collaboration with our in-house service experts where necessary /li liProviding technical advice to customers and on-site training in system operation and basic fault-finding /li liSupporting new and replacement installation projects, as well as conversions, modernisations and system expansions /li liTechnical coordination with electricians, partner companies and customer contacts /li liDocumenting the work carried out and preparing service reports and work reports /li liMaintaining project and system documentation /li liResponsibility for ensuring the operational readiness and careful handling of tools, measuring equipment and the service vehicle /li liTimely handover of documentation for invoicing and follow-up quotations to the back-office team /li liCo-ordination of service call-outs by service partners and assistance with organising the on-call service /li liEnsuring a high level of customer satisfaction through a service-oriented, professional and flexible approach to work /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liCompleted training as an Electrician (EFZ) /li liAutomation Technician (EFZ) /li liElectromechanical Technician /li liElectrical Engineer or a comparable qualification. /li liAt least 5 years’ experience in technical field service / as a field service technician /li liGood command of German and English or French /li liExcellent knowledge of electrical engineering and experience in reading and interpreting electrical diagrams /li liA systematic and independent approach to troubleshooting /li liStrong focus on safety and quality /li liA strong service ethic and enjoyment of direct customer contact /li liAn independent, proactive and responsible personalityA meticulous and structured approach to work, as well as strong teamwork skills /li liVery good written and spoken German and good written and spoken English /li liKnowledge of French or Italian is an advantage, but not a requirement /li liCategory B driving licence /li liWillingness to travel within German-speaking Switzerland; occasional assignments in French-speaking Switzerland and Ticino are also part of the role /li /ul #J-18808-Ljbffr
