We’re launching a brand‑new high‑impact team to lead our strategic expansion into the rapidly growing spatial biology segment. This is a rare chance to get in at the ground floor of a major growth initiative, backed by Leica’s world‑class brand and deep expertise in microscopy and imaging.

Responsibilities

• Manage sales territory effectively, maximizing sales opportunities through prospecting, opportunity development, and negotiation in the Spatial Biology market.
• Own the sales process and present full solution offerings to customers, demonstrating the value of our comprehensive Spatial Biology solutions through demonstrations and technical expertise.
• Quote customers accurately and efficiently, ensuring clarity and competitiveness.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets, contributing to the company\’s overall success, including forecasting and funnel management.
• Utilize value‑selling techniques to identify and address customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry or an equivalent field.
• Multiple years’ experience in a Life Science Research environment, with a solid understanding of Spatial Biology workflows.
• Direct experience working in a lab environment, with a preference for Spatial Biology expertise.
• Background in science, with experience handling tissue samples and imaging proteomics.
• Proven track record in technical solutions selling, ideally with capital equipment and consumables, account management, and the ability to build and sustain customer relationships.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements

• Ability to travel – 50 % travel, overnight, within territory or locations.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Preferred Experience

• Spatial OMICS, multiplexing experience is a plus.
