Overview
In this role, you design and implement a Zero Trust security architecture for a DoD organization, working within Leidos’ Digital Modernization team to advance secure, least-privilege access and continuous monitoring. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed Zero Trust into existing and new systems while leading IAM, network security, and endpoint protection efforts. The position entails OCONUS travel to Stuttgart, Germany and requires a Top Secret/SCI clearance. You’ll contribute to a mission-focused security program with significant impact on DoD cyber resilience.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Lead the design and implementation of a Zero Trust security architecture
- Develop and implement least privilege, micro-segmentation, and continuous monitoring of network traffic
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Zero Trust into systems
- Implement strong authentication/authorization mechanisms and RBAC/IAM solutions
- Monitor and audit user access to mitigate security risks
- Implement network segmentation and secure communication channels
- Design and deploy endpoint protection and device authentication measures
- Develop and document incident response plans for Zero Trust environments
- Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing
Zentrale Anforderungen
- BA/BS + 8 years specialized experience or AA/AS + 10 years specialized or a major cert + 12–14 years specialized experience
- Current Top Secret/SCI clearance
- DOD 8570 IAT 2 compliance
- Experience supervising a minimum of 10 personnel
- Proven Zero Trust Architect or similar cybersecurity experience
- In-depth cybersecurity knowledge and familiarity with IAM, network security, and endpoint protection
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks, compliance standards, and regulations
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Certifications such as CISSP or CZTA are a plus
