Your tasks and responsibilities
- Creating a safe and stimulating learning environment in which students can discover and develop their intellectual, physical, social, and creative potential
- Promoting our school’s motto “Learning to be a citizen of the world” by encouraging students to develop openness toward the perspectives, values, and traditions of other cultures and thereby gain international understanding
- Ensuring high-quality primary education that recognizes diversity as an essential component of the learning environment and guarantees equal opportunities
- Supervising and supporting students in grades 1–5 during core after-school care hours and during playground breaks
- Contributing to the creation of a concept-based and stimulating learning environment
- Assisting in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of projects and programs
- Interacting with children by providing guidance, dialogue, and opportunities for thinking, acting, and reflection
- Observing and documenting learning processes in structured and unstructured learning environments
- Working closely with class teachers and supporting students during lessons
- Contributing to the ongoing development of the after-school care concept
Your profile
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in fields such as childcare, early childhood education, social work, or social pedagogy, or completed training as a state-certified educator, or a comparable recognized qualification
- Very good English language skills
- International experience is an advantage
