Single-Spindle Screw Machining Manager
Mission Lead, coordinate, direct and manage all activities of the Single-Spindle Screw Machining department (cams & CNC). Ensure industrial performance, quality, and deadlines. Manage and develop teams with a focus on operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Supervise a fleet of 85 machines (60 CNC & 25 cam-driven) - Ensure smooth production operation (quality, costs, deadlines) - Manage a team of approximately 50 employees and 5 team leaders - Monitor performance indicators (productivity, OEE, scrap…) - Optimise processes and continuously improve manufacturing methods - Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards - Work closely with support services (maintenance, quality, methods, supply chain) - Lead investment and technical improvement projects
Profile
- Basic technical training (microtechnology, mechanics, industrial production) with additional training in industrial management (foreman, federal diploma or equivalent) - Proven experience in CNC screw machining and/or cam-driven machines - Successful experience in production team management - Natural leadership, ability to unite and develop teams - Strong results orientation and continuous improvement - Comfortable in demanding, multi-technology industrial environments
