What you'll do

• Lead and manage the engineering team, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure professional growth and development.
• Define and implement the engineering strategy aligned with the company's vision and business objectives.
• Collaborate with product management and other stakeholders to prioritize engineering initiatives and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
• Oversee the design and architecture of scalable and robust software systems, ensuring best practices in software development are followed.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing agile methodologies and encouraging innovation within the team.
• Manage resource allocation and project timelines, ensuring that engineering projects are completed on schedule and within budget.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of successfully managing engineering teams and delivering complex software projects.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Dev Ops practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire team members.
• Experience with cloud technologies, microservices architecture, and modern programming languages (e. g., Java, Python, Java Script).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering results.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Experience in the fintech or e-commerce sectors, particularly in developing payment processing or transaction systems.
