art historian (m/f/d) as an expert in photography

• Technical and scientific processing of photographs from all eras (historical, classical, contemporary)
• Creation of catalog texts and object descriptions
• Sound assessment and valuation of objects
• Support for national and international customers and consignors
• Support in the organization and execution of auctions
• Market observation and expansion of the department

Your profile:

• Degree in art history with a focus on photography or comparable qualification
• Relevant professional experience in the field of photography, ideally in the auction or art trade
• High level of self-motivation, structured working style, and ability to work in a team
• Confident manner when dealing with customers
• Business fluent German and very good English skills; other foreign languages are an advantage
• Proficient use of common ED
