Kunsthaus Lempertz, based in Cologne, is one of Germany's leading fine art auction houses and the world's oldest family-owned auction house.
To strengthen our Press and Public Relations Department, we are looking for a Press Officer (m/f/d) to join our team at the earliest possible date.
Your Responsibilities
- Writing and distributing press releases and other PR materials
- Building and maintaining relationships with journalists and media representatives
- Organizing press conferences and media events
- Managing and updating press distribution lists
- Maintaining the press section of the company website
- Coordinating and supporting interviews and media features
- Assisting in the planning and implementation of marketing and communication strategies
Qualifications and Experience
- A university degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Art History, or a comparable field
- Proven experience in press and media relations, ideally within the art or cultural sector
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- An established network within the media industry is an advantage
- A strong interest in art and the auction business
