The Plant Maintenance Coordinator II role plans, schedules, and coordinates maintenance activities to support safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations. The position reviews maintenance requests, schedules labor and resources, coordinates with production and engineering teams, and provides administrative support for maintenance operations, ensuring maintenance work is completed effectively while supporting preventive and routine maintenance programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and schedule maintenance activities to support plant operations and equipment reliability.
  • Review maintenance work requests and determine labor, tools, materials, safety requirements, and equipment needs.
  • Coordinate maintenance schedules with production supervisors, engineers, and project managers to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Monitor, track, and document maintenance activities, repairs, and work order completion.
  • Support preventative maintenance programs by assisting with planning, scheduling, and recordkeeping.
  • Maintain maintenance records and ensure accurate documentation within SAP and other maintenance systems.
  • Assist with coordinating contractor activities and maintenance‑related projects as needed.
  • Communicate maintenance schedules, priorities, and status updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide administrative support to Maintenance Managers and Supervisors.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts related to maintenance planning and scheduling processes.

What We Are Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
  • Reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
  • Familiarity with SAP.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • General knowledge of plant maintenance activities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Experience supporting preventive maintenance activities.
  • Experience planning or coordinating maintenance work.

Compensation

This is a salary non‑exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $53,000 – $69,000. Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
