Description and Requirements

For our sales team we are looking for a Channel Account Manager m / f / d – Infrastructure and Solution Group based in the Stuttgart or Bavaria area to expand the structures and sales activities as soon as possible.

Lenovo 360 is the holistic view of the customer’s needs and our approach to enable our business partners to make the best out of our full bandwidth of our product portfolio and solutions. This will be your strong foundation and fundamental success factor when managing your business segment with business partners and end customers.

You will report to Field Channel Senior Sales Manager.

Your main responsibilities:

  1. Identification, qualification and onboarding of new business partners and customer projects in your dedicated territory.
  2. Enablement and Development of strategies to help business partners to grow their business with the entire Lenovo product portfolio and solutions.
  3. Represent Lenovo for Mid Market Customers in close cooperation with the Mid Market Inside sales team.
  4. Presentation of the Lenovo product and solution portfolio.
  5. Constantly ensure that Lenovo is top of mind through the successful delivery of training and communications.
  6. Quarterly activity planning with the partners to optimize target achievement.
  7. Documentation of sales activities in the CRM system (MS Dynamics).
  8. Processing of daily customer inquiries in cooperation with international Lenovo functions.

Together with your IDG peers on the one hand and the Mid Market Inside Sales Team on the other hand you build a strong team.

Main Requirements:

  1. Study of information technology / business administration or a comparable education/professional experience.
  2. 3-5 years of professional and negotiation experience in sales.
  3. Sound knowledge and applicable experience of sales techniques and sales processes.
  4. Good understanding of our Data Center and Client products and services, industry trends, and competition.
  5. Good industry know-how and knowledge of the IT channel.
  6. Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changed market conditions.
  7. Customer-oriented, independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working.
  8. Ability to work in a team and above-average commitment.
  9. Very good MS Office knowledge.
  10. Business fluent knowledge of English and German.
  11. Driver’s license category ‚B‘.
