Overview In this role, you support the Compliance function at Leonteq, overseeing day-to-day activities and acting as a delegated lead when needed. You will assess business relationships for regulatory alignment and provide advisory support on Swiss and European rules. You’ll conduct reviews, maintain records, and help advance the firm’s compliance framework with cross-functional collaboration. This is a hands-on opportunity to shape governance, respond to regulatory developments, and enable scalable compliance. Leistungen / Benefits Modern offices in exceptional location Insight opportunities across all departments Verantwortungsbereiche Assist the Compliance lead in daily oversight and delegated duties Assess existing and prospective business relationships for regulatory compliance Provide compliance advisory support on FIDLEG/FINIG, MiFIDII, EMIR, FinSA/FinIA and related rules Conduct compliance reviews, monitoring, and contribute to risk and regulatory reporting Maintain and update compliance records, templates, policies, and procedures Prepare assessments, risk analyses, and advisory notes for stakeholders and senior management Monitor regulatory developments and assess impact on the business; support implementation Collaborate with Front Office, Operations, Legal, Risk and other stakeholders on compliance initiatives Support internal audits, regulatory inspections, and remediation programs Contribute to development of the firm’s compliance framework, controls and governance Represent the Compliance team internally and as needed externally; cover delegated matters in lead’s absence Zentrale Anforderungen Master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Law/Compliance/Regulatory or equivalent 7+ years’ experience in Compliance, Internal Audit, Risk Management, or related control function in global financial services In-depth knowledge of capital markets and related regulations (FIDLEG/FINIG, MiFIDII, EMIR, FinSA/FinIA) Strong understanding of money markets, fixed income, interest rates and FX Proven experience in trading, hedging, market risk and P treasury/trading systems experience is an advantage Strong communication and relationship-management Analytical and structured thinking Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset Regulatory knowledge (FIDLEG/FINIG, MiFIDII, EMIR, FinSA/FinIA) Excel Exposure to treasury/trading systems (advantage)
