ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Client Relationship Officer with min. 5 years of relevant experience in structured products and derivatives. In this client-facing role, you will be responsible for developing and managing institutional client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering tailored investment solutions. You will play a key role in driving revenue growth while collaborating closely with Structuring, Trading, and Product Services to provide first-class client service.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Manage and further develop a portfolio of institutional clients, acting as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact
- Identify and acquire new institutional clients, expanding Leonteq's market presence and business opportunities
- Originate, structure, and execute structured product and derivative transactions across primary and secondary markets
- Develop tailored investment solutions in close collaboration with Structuring and Trading teams to meet clients' investment objectives
- Lead commercial negotiations and manage the end-to-end execution of client transactions
- Monitor client portfolios and proactively identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities
- Coordinate with Sales Support, Product Services, Middle Office, Back Office, Legal, and Compliance to ensure seamless transaction execution and exceptional client experience
- Stay abreast of market developments, regulatory changes, and competitive trends to provide value-added market insights to clients
- Contribute to strategic initiatives, process improvements, and the continued growth of the Investment Solutions business
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
- Min. 5 years of experience in institutional sales of structured products, derivatives, or capital markets solutions
- Proven track record of managing and expanding institutional client relationships and generating new business
- Strong knowledge of structured products, derivatives, financial markets, and investment solutions
- Demonstrated commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and presentation skills
- Ability to independently manage complex client situations and transactions while delivering high-quality results under pressure
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solution-oriented mindset
- Entrepreneurial attitude with a proactive and client-centric approach
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functions
- Fluent in English and German; additional languages are considered an advantage
