About The Role

As Head of Finance, you’ll lead our financial strategy and operations, overseeing accounting, tax, monthly reporting, cash flow, and budget planning. You’ll monitor business performance and provide insights to support our decision-making.

The finance team at Les Lunes plays a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth and ensuring financial health. By managing everything from budgeting and forecasting to performance tracking, they provide crucial data to empower decision-making and strategic initiatives. Roles And Responsibilities

1. You lead statutory accounting and tax reporting, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all financial reporting.
2. You own and deliver monthly financial performance reports to management and shareholders.
3. You monitor our business performance closely, guiding and collaborating with teams to drive key business initiatives forward.
4. You monitor our cash balance and prepare periodic forecasts to ensure effective liquidity management.
5. You drive the preparation of the annual budget, collaborating with other teams to create a cohesive and achievable budget aligned with our business strategy.
6. You independently lead critical business projects, collaborating seamlessly across functions.
7. You will lead a team of 2-3 team members (accounting, controlling) and coordinate external service providers (e.g., tax, audit, legal).

Your Profile

1. Experience: Minimum of 6 years in finance-related roles (e.g., audit, controlling, consulting), including experience in a team leadership capacity.
2. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of statutory accounting processes and tax regulations. Experience in a consumer-focused industry is an advantage.
3. Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical mindset with proven ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
4. Technology Proficiency: Advanced skills in MS Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
5. Cross-functional collaboration: Proven experience in working with cross-functional teams to drive business impact.
6. Language Skills: Fluent in English and German, with strong communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
