Senior Corporate Lawyer (VC / M&A)

LEXR ( ) is a fast-growing law firm for tech companies and investors with g lobal reach – est ablished 9 years ago in Switzerland, we have already 30+ legal experts covering Germany, Switzerland, and the US , and we’re just getting started: We are now looking for a hungry & driven senior corporate lawyer to lead and grow our transactions team in Berlin , specializing in v enture c apital (VC) and m ergers & a cquisitions (M&A ) .

Your Role

• Advise: As a senior corporate lawyer, you’ll play a pivotal role in structuring and negotiating national and international VC financings, M&A deals, and other corporate transactions for high-growth startups, established tech companies, and investors.
• Lead and grow: We’ve already built successful VC and M&A teams in record time in Switzerland and have a great founding team in Germany. As a leader and entrepreneur, you’ll grow the German transactions team and build on the deal flow we already have, fully supported by theexpertise of our growth team and the tailwind of our international expansion.
• Collaborate: As a team player, you’ll work closely with the growing German team, the established VC and M&A practices in Switzerland, and thegrowth & marketing team – our teams are highly integrated across offices and borders.
• Innovate: We believe true innovation in the legal market comes from the combination of exceptional lawyers with technology. With our product and tech team, you’ll be at the forefront of how the delivery of corporate transactions will be transformed by legal innovation.

Who You Are

• Qualified lawyer in Germany (fully qualified with second state examination).
• 3-7 years of professional experience in corporate law, with a focus on VC and/or M&A transactions.
• Strong interest in tech transactions and network in the startup & VC ecosystem.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills (English and German fluency required).
• Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
• Enthusiasm for legal tech and innovative approaches to delivering legal services.
