Our client, a well-established international bank based in Geneva, is looking to hire a Relationship Manager to join its Commodity Trade Finance team.
Your responsibilities Managing and strengthening long-term relationships with an existing portfolio of Commodity Trade Finance clients.
Identifying and developing new business opportunities with current clients.
Structuring tailored trade finance solutions while balancing commercial objectives and risk considerations.
Preparing and presenting credit applications, annual reviews and amendments to the relevant approval bodies.
Monitoring the profitability, quality and overall risk profile of your portfolio.
Analysing financial statements, borrowing base reports and other relevant financial information to support credit decisions.
Working closely with internal stakeholders, including Credit Risk, Operations, Legal and Compliance, to ensure smooth execution of transactions and client onboarding.
Identifying cross-selling opportunities across the Bank's product offering.
Your profile University degree in Economics, Finance or an equivalent qualification.
Around 5 to 7 years' experience within Commodity Trade Finance.
Previous experience in a Relationship Manager or Associate Relationship Manager role.
Strong knowledge of trade finance products, credit analysis and transaction structuring.
Exposure to the metals commodities sector would be a strong asset.
Fluent in English and French; any additional language would be considered a plus.
Strong commercial acumen with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Analytical, organised and solution-oriented.
Comfortable working in an international environment and willing to travel when required.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
