The role can be based in either the London or Pfäffikon office. This role offers the opportunity to develop expertise across alternative asset classes within a globally recognised asset manager, with the potential for a permanent position upon successful completion of the contract. /p h3Specific Responsibilities /h3 ul liServe as a dedicated point of contact for all day-to-day client inquiries /li liMaintain CRM system with client records, activity and pipeline and coordinate all ad hoc requests and ongoing reporting to senior management, including annual business plans and monthly/quarterly review packs /li liSupport the Italian team as required on all projects impacting existing client base and work with various internal stakeholders on strategic initiatives to improve the overall efficiency of the team /li liManage client onboarding process by providing support and direction for complex investor transactions /li liCoordinate prospect/client portfolio reviews, operational due diligence meetings, RFP and DDQ completion, roadshows, outreach campaigns, annual conferences and client update calls /li liDeliver customized, standardized and ad-hoc reporting to our Italian client base /li liDirect ongoing client subscription and redemption process ensuring flows are communicated in a timely and accurate manner /li liOrganize and implement new commercial agreements and the ongoing maintenance of these agreements (Intermediary, Rebate, Platform, Custody agreements, etc.) /li liCoordinate client restriction list implementation, trade error notification and side letter attestation process in conjunction with Man Compliance team /li /ul h3Technical Competencies /h3 ul liFluency in Italian /li liInterest across the spectrum of active alternative asset classes, including both systematic and discretionary public equity and fixed income (long-only and hedge funds), managed futures and private credit /li liBachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience in client relations, client services, investor relations, or investment operations at a financial services firm (e.g. wealth manager, asset manager, or hedge fund) /li liAwareness of AIFMD, MiFID II, and local Italian regulatory requirements /li liStudying for, or interest in studying towards CFA or CAIA qualifications /li liFamiliarity with AI tools and a curiosity to leverage emerging technologies to enhance client servicing, reporting and operational efficiency /li liExcellent organization and time management skills to succeed in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment /li liAbility to develop strong-working relationships with clients, prospects and with individuals at all levels of the Man organization /li liMicrosoft skills (PowerPoint, Word and Excel).
