Founder's Associate – Fundraising, Finance & Strategy

Our client is hiring for a Founder's Associate to work directly with the founders at a fast-growing AI fintech in Munich.

This is an opportunity for someone with a background in investment banking, strategy consulting, VC, or a high-growth start-up who wants to move beyond advising businesses and start building one from the inside.

Initial focus will be on:

• Fundraising: Building the equity story, investor deck, financial model, and investor pipeline.
• Finance & Analytics: Owning SaaS KPIs, unit economics, and financial reporting.
• ISO 27001 & Compliance: Driving the certification process and strengthening enterprise readiness.
• Founder's Office: Taking ownership of strategic projects across operations, growth, and business development.

Requirements:

• A degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, ideally at Master's level.
• 1–3 years of experience in investment banking, Tier 1 strategy consulting, VC, or a high-growth start-up.
• Strong corporate finance fundamentals, including valuation, financial modelling, and transaction dynamics.
• Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex topics clearly.
• A hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
• Fluent German and business-fluent English.
• Experience with fundraising, due diligence, ISO 27001, SaaS metrics, or automation tools is a plus.
