As an API Developer / Java Full-Stack Developer you will be responsible for the successful development of trading related microservices/APIs with internal or external endpoints. These APIs typically transport transactional events as well as static data from trading instruments. An important part of the job is also to train/support other team members in this area. Collaborate with development teams and product managers to design software solutions. Responsibilities
Develop and manage well-functioning APIs that follow a microservices architecture. Creating reusable components for future use, including software testing. Empowering other team members with the tools and concepts of API design and development. Ensuring operation within office hours, as well as within the framework of a shared on‑call service. Requirements
Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer or in a comparable role, ideally in API and microservices‑based environments. Solid hands‑on experience with the relevant technology stack, especially Java, Angular, Spring Boot, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Kafka, GitLab, Jira, web servers and databases. Strong understanding of Java design patterns and modern microservices architecture principles. Familiarity with trading‑related interfaces and processes, ideally in FX and securities trading; knowledge of Avaloq or Temenos Data Source (TDS) is an advantage. Excellent communication and collaboration skills combined with a detail‑oriented, analytical and solution‑focused way of working; very good English is required, German is an advantage.
