For our client, we are looking for an experienced Risk & Security Coordinator (m/f/d) to join a business-critical cloud and application environment.This role is ideal for a technical specialist with a background in DevOps, Platform Engineering, IT Operations, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Engineering who wants to drive risk reduction and security improvements across a large application portfolio.You will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Security Specialists, Architects, and Engineering Teams to identify technical risks, improve operational stability, and strengthen security practicYour ResponsibilitiesDrive and track the application and platform risk portfolioIdentify, assess, and analyze technical risks within applications, platforms, and operational processesSupport the definition and implementation of technical risk mitigation measuresTrack security findings and remediation activitiesSupport Product Owners and Scrum Masters on Security, Risk, and Compliance topicsCoordinate technical discussions with Engineering, Architecture, Operations, and Security teamsIdentify technical weaknesses and opportunities for improvementPrepare technical risk reports and presentations for management and key stakeholdersSupport security assessments and technical reviewsPromote Security-by-Design principles and Operational Excellence across application environmentsContribute to the stability, resilience, and security of business-critical systemsYour ProfileDegree in Computer Science, Information Systems, System Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or a related technical discipline (ETH, University, University of Applied Sciences, Higher Technical College) or equivalent practical experienceSeveral years of experience operating business-critical applications and platformsExperience in DevOps, IT Operations, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Cloud Engineering environmentsStrong understanding of modern cloud and application architecturesExperience with technical security topics and risk management in application or cloud environmentsExperience identifying, assessing, and mitigating technical risksHands-on experience working with security findings, remediation plans, and technical improvement initiativesExperience collaborating with Architecture, Security, Operations, and Engineering teamsExperience with monitoring and observability solutionsStrong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to explain technical risks to both technical and non-technical audiencesExperience using Jira and ConfluenceFluent in German and EnglishNice to HaveExperience with Azure, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or similar cloud platformsExperience in enterprise-scale application operationsExperience with Vulnerability ManagementKnowledge of IAM, Network Security, Secrets Management, or Container SecurityFamiliarity with NIST, ISO 27001, or comparable security standardsExperience implementing security and compliance requirements within product teamsPrevious experience as a Senior Engineer, Technical Lead, Platform Engineer, or Cloud EngineerAdditional InformationWorkload: 100%Location: BernWork Model: HybridStart Date: ASAP / October 2026Contract Duration: 12-month temporary assignment until September 2027Opportunity to contribute to a highly critical cloud and application landscapeClose collaboration with Product Owners, Architects, Security Specialists, DevOps Teams, and Engineering TeamsModern enterprise environment focused on cloud technologies, security, and operational excellence#LI-KK1 #J-18808-Ljbffr
