Head of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Our client, a well-established medium-sized company in the consumer sector, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable to join their team in the Canton of Lucerne. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a critical finance function in a growing and fast-paced business environment.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams, ensuring efficient processes and best practices.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize cash flow management, working capital, and financial processes.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with Swiss accounting regulations and internal financial policies.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve payment and collection cycles.
- Drive automation and process improvements within the AP and AR functions.
- Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Train, mentor, and develop team members to enhance overall efficiency and performance.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of Swiss accounting standards, VAT regulations, and financial compliance.
- Experience in a consumer-focused industry is an advantage.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and financial software.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Fluency in German and English; French is a plus.
