As part of the development of our specialised clinical expertise, we are looking for an Expert Nurse Consultant in Diabetology (40-50%) to strengthen the quality, coordination and innovation of diabetology care within our institution.
Through your clinical, educational and organisational expertise, you will play a key role in supporting patients and teams, developing specialised programmes and continuously improving professional practices.
Your responsibilities
Provide specialised clinical expertise in diabetology
- Conduct specialised consultations and nursing follow-up in diabetology - Support complex clinical situations in collaboration with teams and relatives - Optimise care pathways and the quality of care - Integrate scientific recommendations and evidence-based practices - Provide reference clinical expertise to care teams
Lead and develop specialised programmes
- Coordinate and develop the DIAfit, DIAfood and DIAchef programmes - Ensure organisational, administrative and statistical follow-up of the programmes - Design and lead therapeutic education workshops - Evaluate the quality and performance of specialised services - Identify new development opportunities in diabetology
Support teams and develop skills
- Participate in the integration and support of new staff - Supervise professionals in training - Design and deliver internal and external training - Support teams in evolving professional practices - Promote knowledge sharing and dissemination within the institution
Contribute to quality, innovation and institutional influence
- Participate in the development and updating of care protocols - Contribute to quality, safety and continuous improvement projects - Participate in institutional and clinical research projects - Develop interprofessional and interinstitutional collaborations - Represent the institution in specialised networks and events

Education and background
- Bachelor of Science HES-SO in Nursing (BScN) - Certificate of competence as a clinical nurse in diabetology or federal diploma as an expert in diabetology - Proven experience in clinical diabetology - Experience in project management or therapeutic education is an asset - Knowledge of wounds and healing is an additional advantage
Technical skills
