At Lavaux Hospital, our human-scale medical team includes, among others, six assistant doctors who cover mandates from six months to one year. Aware of and committed to our role in the basic training of tomorrow's caregivers, we also actively collaborate with regional nursing schools and welcome around twenty nursing students per year, as well as APS, ASSC, occupational therapy and Red Cross interns.

An expansion project is planned for 2027, with the services moving into new premises currently under construction on the hospital site.
Within our rehabilitation department, our multidisciplinary team supports patients with professionalism and kindness to promote their recovery, autonomy and quality of life through comprehensive and personalised care tailored to each individual's needs. Since 2024, we have also been welcoming patients in acute geriatrics.
To strengthen this team, we are looking for:

Mission
- Provide quality nursing care to patients respecting their needs and rehabilitation goals. - Manage, in partnership with an ASSC or an auxiliary nurse, a group of patients by ensuring technical care, prescribed treatments and clinical follow-up. - Participate in the development, implementation and evaluation of individualised care plans. - Support patients throughout their stay, particularly during admissions, transfers and discharges. - Work closely with all professionals involved in care to promote functional recovery, autonomy and quality of life for patients. - Actively participate in the supervision of students, interns and new staff. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of service practices as well as the quality and safety of care.

Technical skills
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent recognised qualification in Switzerland. - Mastery of technical nursing care and ability to manage complex clinical situations. - Comfortable using common IT tools (proficiency in SOARIAN is an asset). - Professional experience in rehabilitation, acute geriatrics or hospital environment is a strong asset. - Holder of a CAS in Practitioner Trainer (PF) or FEE certification is an asset.
Human skills
- Strong interest in caring for patients in rehabilitation and acute geriatrics. - Excellent interpersonal, listening and communication skills with patients, their relatives and teams. - Ability to work independently, with critical thinking and a sense of responsibility. - Aptitude to understand the patient’s situation holistically and actively contribute to interprofessional work. - High adaptability, good prioritisation skills and ease in handling unforeseen events.
