As a Product Manager, you will work closely with a cross-functional team in developing and enhancing our social network, nebenan.de, with a focus on advertising.
Responsibilities:
- Ownership of the advertising product: Further develop our AdStack to increase monetization, particularly through programmatic advertising, format and placement enhancements, and increased use of data-driven monetization options.
- Lead the conceptualization, development, and launch of features, ensuring alignment with user needs and company goals.
- Use data-driven decision-making to prioritize product features and improvements that align with our strategic goals.
- Engage with our users to gather insights and feedback, using this information to refine product strategy and feature development.
- Work closely with engineering, product design, and business intelligence teams to ensure successful product releases and market adoption.
- Foster a culture of innovation within the team, encouraging experimentation and the exploration of new ideas to meet user needs.
Minimum Requirements:
- Deep understanding of the programmatic advertising ecosystem, including key technologies, processes, and players. Hands-on experience with Google Ad Manager, including ad serving and targeting. Knowledge of Prebid and other header bidding solutions is a plus.
- A degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of launching and growing digital products.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams.
- A deep understanding of data analysis tools and methodologies, with the ability to translate insights into actionable product features.
- Thrives in a startup culture, with a hands-on approach and a willingness to take on diverse challenges.
- Living in Germany is required.
- German language skills at B2 / C1 level are a plus.
