Banking IT Transformation Project Manager

As a Product Manager, you will work closely with a cross-functional team in developing and enhancing our social network, nebenan.de, with a focus on advertising.

Responsibilities:

1. Ownership of the advertising product: Further develop our AdStack to increase monetization, particularly through programmatic advertising, format and placement enhancements, and increased use of data-driven monetization options.
2. Lead the conceptualization, development, and launch of features, ensuring alignment with user needs and company goals.
3. Use data-driven decision-making to prioritize product features and improvements that align with our strategic goals.
4. Engage with our users to gather insights and feedback, using this information to refine product strategy and feature development.
5. Work closely with engineering, product design, and business intelligence teams to ensure successful product releases and market adoption.
6. Foster a culture of innovation within the team, encouraging experimentation and the exploration of new ideas to meet user needs.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Deep understanding of the programmatic advertising ecosystem, including key technologies, processes, and players. Hands-on experience with Google Ad Manager, including ad serving and targeting. Knowledge of Prebid and other header bidding solutions is a plus.
2. A degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
3. Minimum 3 years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of launching and growing digital products.
4. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams.
5. A deep understanding of data analysis tools and methodologies, with the ability to translate insights into actionable product features.
6. Thrives in a startup culture, with a hands-on approach and a willingness to take on diverse challenges.
7. Living in Germany is required.
8. German language skills at B2 / C1 level are a plus.
