The position serves as a technical expert in the design, development, testing, implementation and support of Digital Collections Management tools and applications for the Library of Congress, supporting the Digital Library Services (DLS) program within a hybrid environment that includes systems developed leveraging cloud technologies in AWS.

DLS tools support the ingest, preservation and access to millions of digitized manuscript, newspaper, map, photo, film, audio, web archive, book, and other items from the Library's collections. The current suite of tools supports inventory, reporting, derivative making and processing, submission and ingest, search and browsing, workflow, and other processes required to support all aspects of digital collections management.
