Senior Accountant (m/f/d) in Bochum

Your mission

As Senior Accountant, you will take responsibility for establishing reliable, efficient and scalable accounting processes at LIDROTEC.

• Take ownership of monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities
• Ensure accurate general ledger accounting and balance sheet reconciliations
• Manage accruals, provisions and other closing-related accounting topics
• Develop accounting processes for inventory, work in progress and machine projects
• Ensure correct accounting treatment of fixed assets and capitalized development-related topics where applicable
• Coordinate external tax advisors, payroll providers and auditors
• Support VAT reporting and other tax-related processes
• Establish accounting guidelines, documentation and internal controls
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable accounting
• Continuously improve and automate accounting processes

Your profile

• Degree or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance, Tax or Business Administration
• Several years of professional accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of German HGB
• Experience preparing monthly and annual financial statements
• Experience in manufacturing, machinery, project business or inventory accounting is highly desirable
• Qualification as Bilanzbuchhalter*in or comparable certification is an advantage
• Experience with DATEV
• Strong Excel skills and affinity for digital Finance processes
• Structured, precise and independent working style
• Strong sense of ownership and reliability
• Very good German and good English skills
