Your Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the functional management of the technical project team during the project development phases, including the coordination and distribution of tasks among the team members.
  • You plan, control, and track the engineering activities related to a development project, including development costs, budget, schedule, and quality targets, in accordance with the Project Plan.
  • You represent engineering in the Project core team as well as towards customers and management and report the technical status of the Project.
  • You are responsible for the technical reporting and the final release of the complete system.
  • You coordinate with the technical teams to assess the risks related to the project, elaborate, and implement the recovery plans.
  • You identify and resolve conflicting objectives from the early stages of the process.
  • You ensure the fulfillment of technical project targets, mediate and escalate in case of deviations or conflicts on the defined targets.
  • You work hand in hand with the Project Manager to ensure the acceptance of technical solutions (industrialization, production, customer service, …) during the whole development process.

Your Profile

  • You have completed your Bachelor’s or Master’s studies in Engineering and possess solid experience in combustion engine development.
  • You have been working for at least 10 years in the coordination of project teams within a matrix organization.
  • You possess fluent proficiency in English; good knowledge in German and French is highly desired.
  • You are known for your leadership skills, as well as your strong communication skills and ability to negotiate, influence, and take important decisions.
  • You enjoy motivating and mentoring others, building strong collaboration across the organization.
  • Your personality is characterized by a high sense of responsibility; you are an open-minded, organized team player and combine strategic and analytical competencies with a hands-on mentality.
