Overview
As a Buyer, you will manage a purchasing portfolio daily, driving cost-efficient sourcing and supplier collaboration. You will analyze data, negotiate prices, manage contracts and long-term agreements, and oversee supplier performance and risk. You’ll coordinate supplier evaluations with quality management and support audits, while pursuing cost-reduction initiatives and design-to-cost solutions. Verantwortungsbereiche
- Oversee daily management of a purchasing portfolio and price updates
- Analyze portfolio and sort offers; manage RFQs and supplier negotiations
- Maintain supplier relationships, contracts, long-term agreements, and business reviews
- Draft supplier performance reports and monitor supplier risk; lead crisis actions and corrective measures
- Coordinate supplier evaluations with supplier quality management and support audits
- Lead cost-reduction activities and monitor progress
- Identify technical solutions to ensure design-to-cost (DTC)
- Support audits and ensure compliance with supplier-related processes
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 1–2 years of buyer experience in automotive, construction equipment, aviation, or railway sectors
- Bachelor or Master in engineering, economics, management, project management, or purchasing
- Proficiency in French, German, and English
- ERP system, SharePoint, and MS Office proficiency
- Organized, analytical, and team-oriented; results-driven; eager to develop skills
