Overview
In this role you will drive Product Master Data governance and quality within a global manufacturing context. You will partner with business and IT to align data strategies, standards, and processes, ensuring consistent data across divisions. You will build and maintain a network of data owners and stewards, oversee governance projects, and continuously improve data management practices. Verantwortungsbereiche
- Align data domain activities with overall data strategy and act as a business partner on Product domain topics
- Establish and manage a network of Product data owners and stewards across divisions to ensure quality and deliverables
- Serve as the link between Business and IT, providing feedback and representing business on Product topics
- Establish processes to ensure data quality, resolve Product data issues, and hold data owners accountable
- Oversee global data governance standards and ensure adherence within the domain, managing projects within budget
- Direct continuous improvement of Product Master Data management processes and develop training materials as needed
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 10+ years of experience with master data management, especially Product Master Data
- Product management and/or IT data modeling background a plus
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing industry and key business processes
- Strong project management skills for data quality, retention, security, privacy, and ethics initiatives
- Facilitation and conflict resolution abilities for cross-team collaboration
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including senior management
- Fluent English (B2) and German (C1)
