Overview
As Head of Product Security, you will define and drive the global strategy to safeguard Liebherr products and connected digital services. You will integrate security-by-design across hardware, firmware and software lifecycles, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with engineering and information security leaders to translate risk into actionable programs. You will lead a team of security experts and shape governance, training, and adherence to cyber regulatory requirements. This role offers impact at scale across construction machines and digital platforms, in a cross-functional, risk-aware environment.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Define and lead global product security strategy, roadmap and execution for construction machines and digital products
- Define product security controls based on threat modelling and risk appetite
- Act as central focal point for product security topics with internal/external stakeholders
- Define governance framework (policies, standards, controls) and ensure adoption across R&D and product lifecycles
- Sponsor and deploy training and support to engineering teams on security best practices
- Ensure compliance with EU CRA, NIS2 and other global regulations
- Embed security-by-design into hardware, firmware, embedded software and connected platforms
- Build, mentor and lead a team of product security experts and collaborate across domains
Zentrale Anforderungen
- A degree in Engineering, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in product or embedded cybersecurity
- 3+ years in a leadership role
- Strong background in embedded systems, connected products, or industrial/IoT security
- Ability to translate regulatory and technical requirements into practical engineering execution
- Solid knowledge of UNECE R155/R156, EU CRA, IEC 62443, ISO 21434, NIST CSF
- Experience with security testing methods and tools (SAST, DAST, fuzzing)
- Fluent English; German and French are a plus
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial, automotive, or heavy equipment environments is a strong advantage
