In this role you own the full lifecycle of assigned products and drive targets in collaboration with key stakeholders. You translate roadmaps into defined product concepts, balance customer insights with market trends, and lead cross-functional efforts with R&D, Marketing, and Project Management. Verantwortungsbereiche
- Own the product lifecycle for assigned products from definition to deletions
- Assess lifecycle progress and initiate measures to meet business targets with stakeholders
- Define product specifications based on input from Strategy Office, customers, R&D, and market trends
- Maintain direct customer contact and consolidate customer insights
- Manage market- and product-related activities including cost reduction, cost control, pricing strategy, and profitability
- Lead new product integrations with Project Management and Marketing (launch materials, online content)
- Translate innovation roadmap into profitable, differentiated value propositions
- Oversee regional product coverage decisions and harmonize regional needs via product-market matrix
- Support and collaborate with Technical Sales, customers, and R&D to define product strategy and portfolio
- Provide input and manage development of the engine configurator
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Master’s degree in Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in product management and engineering within combustion engine development in matrix organizations
- Strong knowledge of powertrain solutions for land defence applications
- Fluent in German and English (C1) and French (B2)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project
- Strong commercial and customer-oriented mindset; excellent communication, adaptability, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
