Overview
In this role you drive aftermarket lifecycle improvements for diesel engine-related products by analyzing field data and components, guiding make-or-buy and remanufacturing decisions, and coordinating rollout of improved aftermarket offerings. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to prioritize initiatives based on evidence and customer value, contribute to standardization and cost-efficiency, and oversee work packages from concept to handover. You will also support testing, knowledge transfer, and training for service operations and parts teams. This is a hands-on, impact-driven position in a family-owned business with room for ideas and professional growth.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Analyze diesel engines, components, and field data to identify lifecycle improvements through service, overhaul, remanufacturing, and maintenance concepts
- Provide structured technical input for make-or-buy, repair-or-replace, and remanufacturing evaluations based on quality findings, field experience, and customer usage patterns
- Coordinate implementation of improved aftermarket products with internal and external stakeholders (Product Line, Engineering, Spare Parts, Customers)
- Support the Aftermarket Portfolio Manager in prioritizing product initiatives based on technical evidence, implementation maturity, and customer value
- Contribute to product standardization and cost-efficiency improvements of the aftermarket portfolio
- Manage related operational work packages from concept clarification through pilot implementation to final handover
- Maintain documentation, status, open points, risks, decisions, and escalation needs for assigned product initiatives
- Support testing, validation, knowledge transfer, and product training for Customer Service Operations, Spare Parts, and Business Development
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Completed studies in a technical field, industrial engineering, project management, or industrial management
- Several years of professional experience in engineering, product/project management, and customer service; experience in combustion engine applications is a plus
- Strong analytical skills and proficient with MS Office; familiarity with ERP systems
- Fluent in German and/or French, and very good English skills
- Ability to understand technical systems and translate findings into structured product and process requirements
- Structured project management mindset with the ability to coordinate multiple internal stakeholders and drive implementation
