Overview In this role you drive product safety by applying EN ISO 12100 risk assessment processes and coordinating across engineering to ensure safe, compliant products. You’ll support communication with customers and stakeholders and use your broad technical know-how to identify risks across mechanical, electrical, software domains. You contribute to design discussions from a safety perspective, working autonomously yet as part of a cross-functional team in a family-owned business. Leistungen / Benefits flexible working hours home office company restaurant training opportunities many benefits secure job Verantwortungsbereiche Apply and promote EN ISO 12100 risk assessment processes Coordinate implementation of product risk assessments with engineering and other departments Ensure implementation of applicable product safety requirements, guidelines and standards Support communication with customers and external stakeholders on product safety and risk topics Identify potential risks across mechanical, electrical, software and other technical aspects Contribute to technical discussions and challenge existing solutions from a product safety perspective Zentrale Anforderungen Technical education or vocational training in a relevant field Several years of professional experience in an industrial environment, ideally in machinery or heavy-duty equipment Broad technical understanding: drawings, mechanical design, hardware/software development Practical knowledge of product safety and risk assessment, including EN ISO 12100 Good understanding of international product safety requirements and ability to translate into practical solutions Curiosity and willingness to learn; comfortable beyond initial area of expertise Confident and assertive in discussions, constructive and solution-oriented Autonomous, focused on clear targets Team player focused on safety goals in risk assessment curiosity learning mindset communication EN ISO 12100 knowledge product safety and risk assessment mechanical design understanding
