Whether it’s a Friday-night feast, a post-gym poke bowl, or grabbing some groceries, our tech platform connects tens of millions of customers with hundreds of thousands of restaurant, grocery, and convenience partners across the globe. About this role: As the Head of Partners, you will be responsible for defining and executing Lieferando’s end-to-end Partner Growth Strategy, driving sustainable business growth through strategic partnerships across restaurants, chains, and key accounts and Groceries & Verticals. You will play a critical role in maximizing partner performance, strengthening relationships, and unlocking joint growth opportunities through best-in-class marketing activation, visibility, and partner engagement initiatives. Acting as the key bridge between Marketing, Sales, AME, and Strategic Partners, you and your team will operate as "Marketing Account Managers,” leading Joint Business Plans (JBPs) and delivering impactful, insight-driven growth strategies tailored to partner segments—from large strategic chains to SMBs and grocery partners. In this very senior leadership role, you will oversee multiple specialized streams, including Strategic Partners, Grocery & Retail (G&R), and Partner Marketing. You will also own the Partner Growth budget and KPIs, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI and partner success. Reporting directly to the Marketing Director, you will shape the partner growth agenda, influence cross-functional priorities, and represent the partner perspective at senior leadership level. This role requires a strong blend of commercial acumen, strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and inspirational leadership to drive alignment and execution across a complex, fast-paced organization. These are some of the key components to the position: Define and execute Partner Growth Strategy: Own and lead the end-to-end partner growth strategy across all partner segments (Strategic Partners, Chains, SMBs, Grocery & Retail), aligning with overall business objectives to drive order growth, partner retention, and long-term value creation. Drive Joint Business Planning (JBPs): Lead the development and execution of joint business plans with key strategic partners, ensuring clear growth roadmaps, aligned targets, and impactful marketing activations. Own partner marketing activation & visibility: Oversee partner marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility both on-platform and off-platform, including campaigns, placements, and the LMV (Lieferando Marketplace Visibility) pillar across couriers and partners. Lead cross-functional collaboration: Act as the primary marketing counterpart to Sales, AME, Managing Directors, and Central Teams, ensuring strong alignment, clear communication, and integrated execution of partner initiatives. Budget ownership & ROI optimization: Manage and allocate the partner growth budget effectively across teams and initiatives, continuously optimizing spend to maximize partner performance and business impact. Monitor and analyze KPIs: Define, track, and analyze key partner performance metrics (e.g., growth, retention, visibility, partner health), translating insights into actionable strategies and continuous improvement. Own partner health & engagement: Drive partner satisfaction and operational excellence through Partner Support initiatives, including communications, tools (e.g., Webshop, Ochus), and programs to improve restaurant partner experience and performance (RFO). Lead events and industry presence: Oversee the strategy and execution of key partner-facing events (e.g., Internorga, awards, and local activations), leveraging these platforms to strengthen relationships and drive growth. Support growth cities initiatives: Collaborate with regional and local teams to accelerate partner growth in key cities, ensuring tailored strategies and strong execution on the ground. Leadership and team development: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team across Partner Growth functions, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement. What will you bring to the team? Extensive experience in commercial, partner management, and marketing roles, with a strong track record of driving growth through partnerships, mandatory experience within Retail, FMCG, and also experience within e-commerce, marketplaces & platform-based businesses. Strong commercial and strategic acumen, with the ability to translate business goals into actionable partner strategies and build compelling business cases. Proven leadership skills, with experience managing and developing high-performing teams in complex, cross-functional environments. Exceptional stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to influence and align senior leaders (e.g., Sales, AME, MD, and central functions) and external strategic partners. Strong experience in joint business planning, key account management, or partner marketing, with a deep understanding of how to unlock mutual value. Data-driven mindset, with the ability to leverage insights and performance metrics to inform decisions and optimize partner strategies. Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with experience presenting to executive and board-level stakeholders. Highly collaborative and proactive, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive impact in a fast-paced environment.
