Associate Director Engineering Services & Operations (m/f/d) in Dresden

What you will enjoy doing

• Manage a team with engineering and engineering services discipline
• Execute gas supply systems (bulk, purifier & analytics for all gases to be supplied)
• Support Sales & Business Development to achieve growth plan
• Concept and detail engineering, cost calculation and execution of bulk gases projects (EPC)
• Manage preventive, planned and corrective maintenance (including costs) of liquid bulk, analytic & purifier systems
• Manage Service Level Agreement (SLA) with Linde Gas Produktionsgesellschaft (LiGaPro) for all onsite supply sites of Linde Electronics (CAPEX, OPEX)
• Fulfill operator responsibilities set by local authorities
• Drive CAPEX/ OPEX/ Operating working capital (OWC) and overall cost discipline within departments scope
• Monitor and recognize market changes and trends in Engineering to keep the delivered engineering / equipment at top-notch

What makes you great

• Degree in process/chemical/mechanical engineering discipline
• 8+yr experience in industrial gases business, with several years of proven leadership
• You have experience working in complex matrix organisations across countries and regions, combined with a strong commercial mindset.
• You can manage daily engineering tasks in a high demanding customer segment while developing high performing teams
• Extensive knowledge in design engineering and project management for bulk installations
• Experience with gas purification systems and gas analytics
• Experience in operation and maintenance of liquid bulk, purifier and gas analytic systems
• You have a proven track record in EPC-Projects design and execution for Bulk Gas installations
• You demonstrate good presentation and communication skills bring excellent intercultural and interdisciplinary skills. This enables you to clearly communicate with internal and external stakeholders as well as customer’s operational senior management.
• Strategic thinking: set up and execute strategies for engineering and operation scope to contribute to overall organizational targets (productivity, safety, operational excellence)
• English advanced (C1), German business proficient (C2)
