AI Consultant – LLM Specialist (Client-Facing) Location: Germany (Remote or Hybrid)Salary: Up to €100,000 base (depending on experience) + monthly bonusExperience Level: 3+ years in AI consulting or related technical rolesMandatory requirement: Candidates must be fluent German speakers.We are looking for a skilled AI Consultant with deep knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs) and a strong blend of technical and client-facing skills. This is an opportunity to work at the forefront of AI innovation, helping organizations define and implement strategies that deliver real business value.ResponsibilitiesClient-Facing AI Consulting:Lead one major client project as the primary AI consultantContribute strategically and technically to two additional client engagementsAct as a subject matter expert for AI-related questions across the businessStrategy & Implementation:Support clients in defining and building AI strategies aligned with their goalsTranslate business needs into LLM-based technical solutionsStay current on the latest developments in OpenAI and broader LLM technologies and guide clients accordinglyTechnical Execution:Design, build, and deploy AI solutions using PythonSupport deployments in cloud environments (preferably Azure)Contribute to or advise on the implementation of MLOps pipelines where appropriateInternal Collaboration:Work closely with software engineering and operations teams to integrate AI solutions into broader systemsOptional light mentoring of junior staff for candidates with management experienceWhat We\’re Looking For2–3+ years of experience in AI consulting or similar technical rolesHands-on expertise with LLMs, including fine-tuning and real-world applicationStrong Python development skillsProven ability to communicate and lead conversations with clientsFamiliarity with OpenAI tools and staying up to date with its ecosystemExperience working in cloud environments, ideally AzureGood understanding of software engineering workflows and practicesMLOps experience or openness to working with MLOps tools is a plusA PhD in a relevant field is a strong plus but not a requirementTechnical EnvironmentAI/ML: Large Language Models, OpenAI ecosystem Programming: Python Cloud: Azure preferred, general cloud experience valued Other: MLOps familiarity (optional but beneficial)Interested in leading real-world AI transformation?
