Category Manager - Telecommunications

We are seeking a highly skilled Category Manager – Telecommunications (Telco Buyer) to manage the procurement of telecommunications equipment and services. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in procurement, excellent negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of the telecommunications sector.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement procurement strategies for telecommunications equipment and services.Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective purchasing.Collaborate with technical teams to meet telecommunications needs and optimize operations.Monitor market trends and maintain strong supplier relationships.Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.Analyze spend data and identify opportunities for cost savings.Requirements:Proven experience in procurement, preferably in the telecommunications industry.Strong negotiation and communication skills.Native German language proficiency (C2 level).Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Experience with procurement software and tools is a plus.
