Head of Corporate Finance & Treasury

The position of Head of Corporate Finance & Treasury offers a unique opportunity to lead and shape critical financial functions within the organization. Reporting directly to the Group CFO and serving as a member of the Senior Management team, this role is pivotal in driving the company’s financial strategy and operational excellence. With responsibilities spanning Corporate Finance, Group Treasury, and Treasury Back Office, this role provides an unparalleled platform for growth, innovation, and leadership in a fast-paced and complex industry. The successful candidate will lead a team of approximately 10 professionals, and will be instrumental in delivering value through strategic financial initiatives.Location: Located in Hamburg, with the ability to work in the office three days a week.Salary: € 180 000 + BonusRequired Skills and ExperienceFluency in German or English. University degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.Extensive background in Corporate Finance & Treasury.Ideally, exposure to Financial Services/Trading sector.Proven hands-on experience managing operational transformation and digitalization projects.Demonstrated track record of delivering value to large-scale, complex businesses.Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.A proactive and motivated individual with a drive to optimize and improve while maintaining business continuity.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate Corporate Finance functions, including Structured Finance, Trade Finance, Bank Finance, and Debt Capital Markets.Oversee Group Treasury operations, including Cash Management, Internal Financing, Liquidity Management, FX Management, and Interest Rate Management.Manage Treasury Back Office activities, such as Treasury Systems and Processes, Bank Account Structures, and Treasury Documentation and Reporting.Ensure compliance with Bank and Covenant reporting requirements, internal reporting, and KYC processes.Drive operational transformation and digitalization initiatives within the CFO’s organization.Provide strategic guidance and leadership to a team of approximately 10 employees, fostering collaboration and professional development.This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced professional to take on the role of Head of Corporate Finance & Treasury and contribute to the success of a global leader.
