To support this evolution, we are seeking a Head of Data to lead, scale, and mature the data function. Reporting directly to the C-suite, this role will oversee a team of data professionals and collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation, particularly in finance and technology.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and lead a cross-functional data team (engineers, analysts, etc.Develop a modern data platform, including data lake and web tracking capabilities.Optimise digital customer journeys and support AI-driven personalisation.Define KPIs to measure business performance and support planning.Enable automation in customer operations using data.Deliver data insights and tools for internal and external users.Drive data governance and cross-functional alignment.Champion data as a key driver of growth and decision-making.What We\’re Looking For3+ years as Head of Data, with 5+ years overall experience in data and engineering.Experience working with large datasets.From a data engineering background.Solid knowledge of cloud data platforms including Snowflake or DatabricksExtensive experience in web analytics.Familiarity with large language models is a plus.Proven ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders, and drive business outcomes.Experience working with FP&A and engineering teams.Industry experience in financial services, consumer or retail.Working proficiency in spoken German.Please reply without delay.
