LG Electronics VS is a leading system supplier in the fields of in-vehicle infotainment, telematics and electrification.LG – Innovation Partner for Vehicle Electrification – Infotainment / Connectivity / Intelligent Driving / SoftwareResident Engineer (m/f/d) Automotive Your Tasks:Conducting initial analysis on the reported technical issuesCarrying out issue reproduction tests and capturing requested traces for further analysisDocumenting test procedures and resultsOrganizing joint debugging session with relevant experts in HQInstallation and commissioning of test benches and executing functional and/or system testsDocumenting necessary instructions for engineers and testers in different sitesSupporting of various internal processes (i.e. SW update, rework, configuration of ECU´s) and customer processesensuring error tracking management and monitoring status of follow-up tasksplanning, delivering, and updating engineering samples together with corresponding softwareConducting SW updates / TCU flashing with each new SW releasePreparing and updating regular SW releases of test vehiclesUpdating SW and configuration of measurement equipment according to customers’ specPreparing and participating in joint test events with OEM and contractorsCommunicating technical details / feedback from customers with experts transparently and clearlyYour Expertise:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in EngineeringMinimum 5+ years of experience in Automotive – SW/HW DevelopmentAutomotive SW knowledge in: Autosar, CAN communication, Video interface, A-SPICE, Functional Safety, Cyber security, MCU application, programming languageAutomotive HW knowledge, display system, video signal, power circuits, EMC & CANoe/Trace32Good team player with efficient and effective communication skill in English and proactive mindsetGood understanding of multicultural environmentVery good communication skills in English and GermanPlease send us your complete application documents including earliest start date and salary expectations to: vseurecruiting@lge.comWe look forward to hearing from you!
