Software Test Engineer (m/f/d) – High-Precision Medical Devices

We\’re currently looking for a Software Test Engineer to strengthen our software validation team.Your Impact:Test new features directly on our cutting-edge systems or via simulated environments that replicate real-world usage scenarios in medical labs.Ensure flawless interaction between our software and external components including sensors, robotic arms, and quality control interfaces.Define and execute structured manual and automated test procedures to meet internal and regulatory quality requirements.Contribute to the development of test specifications and documentation as part of our software release cycle.Work closely with engineering, software development, product, and quality assurance teams to support the continuous improvement of our systems.What You Bring:A degree in computer science, engineering, physics, medical technology, or a similar technical discipline.Some hands-on experience in software or hardware testing – preferably in medical devices, laboratory automation, or industrial control systems.Understanding of software testing methodologies; ISTQB certification or knowledge of standards such as IEC 62304 is a plus.Strong analytical thinking and a methodical, safety-focused mindset.Interest in healthcare innovation and regulated environments.Very good German skills and solid command of English.
