We are seeking an experienced Head of Applications to lead our business applications function and drive our digital transformation journey.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will define and execute the company’s application, data and digitalisation roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements and technology strategy.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the enterprise application landscape, including ERP, BI, CRM and document management.
- Define and execute the ERP and digital transformation roadmap, from business case to implementation and operations.
- Drive the responsible adoption of AI, automation and advanced analytics.
- Ensure GxP compliance, CSV, data integrity, cybersecurity and application governance.
- Lead the application project portfolio, budget and external vendors/system integrators.
- Manage, coach and develop the Applications team.
- Partner with Executive Management and business functions to identify technology opportunities and optimise processes.
Requirements
- University degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise business applications, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or another highly regulated industry is a strong plus.
- Strong ERP experience (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics 365/AX, SAP, Oracle or Infor).
- Solid knowledge of GxP, Annex 11, 21 CFR Part 11, ALCOA+, CSV and data integrity.
- Experience with project/portfolio management, budgets and vendor management.
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
