LOCALIZATION TESTER

Position Summary

As a Localization Game Tester, you\’ll ensure the accuracy and quality of translated game content. Your duties include running test cases, checking translations, reporting issues, and providing gameplay feedback. You\’ll also collaborate with team members, maintain cultural accuracy, and assist with administrative tasks.

What You Will Do

• Execute and update test cases to verify the quality of localized content.
• Test product/game translation quality, consistency, and language correctness according to given specifications.
• Report bugs in line with project requirements, providing constructive suggestions for solutions.
• Analyze products through gameplay and testing to gain insights and provide feedback for improvements.
• Acquire knowledge on testing methodologies and the video game market.
• Share knowledge with other members of the testing team.
• Ensure cultural correctness in the target market for your language and verify console terminology for accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate with test leads and international testers to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
• Perform administrative tasks assigned by the supervisor.
• Perform other activities necessary for the proper conduct of work in accordance with the supervisor\’s instructions.
• Observe procedures related to the job.

To Be Successful You Will Have

• Native-level speaker of the target language and expert knowledge of its\‘ culture.
• Proficient in both written and verbal English communication at an upper intermediate level.
• Passion for video games and broad knowledge of video game platforms.
• Previous experience in Quality Assurance, Game Localization, Translation, or Proofreading is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Flexible, pro-active and team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to learn new tools quickly and effectively.
• Ability to work under pressure as well as independently with minimal supervision.
• Readiness to test on-site in the Berlin office (Leuschnerdamm 31,
• Availability to test between 10AM and 7PM (with a fixed 1-hour lunch break), Monday-Friday.
