Materials Engineer / Synthetic Chemist (Ulm, Germany)

We’re looking for a motivated Materials Engineer / Synthetic Chemist to join Litona in Ulm, Germany.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will develop, optimize and scale-up the synthesis of our next-gen positive electrode active materials for sodium-ion batteries. You will help us set up our synthesis and analytics lab and later take a leading role in building our pilot production. You will work closely with our CEO/CTO, but also work and make decisions very independently and have a high level of personal responsibility.

• Proven experience in battery active material synthesis
• Strong knowledge in the field of batteries
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• You are keen on the „startup atmosphere“ and know that a lot depends on you
• You have stamina and don’t give up until the goal is reached
• You get on well with colleagues and know how to create a good team atmosphere
